February 17th and 18th was a weekend to remember at Alphay. Because on that very special occasion, Alphay Chairman and Founder Hui Chen, led an all-star executive Alphay group on an introductory visit to the State of Minnesota.
Accompanied by Global CEO Barbara Liang and other corporate leaders, Hui Chen and the Alphay contingent took a specially structured visit to many academic institutes and Alphay members throughout Minnesota.
Among the many internationally recognized academic institutes in healthcare and medical science they visited were the Northwestern Health Sciences University, the University of Minnesota and its world famous Hormel Institute. Chairman Chen was warmly received by the leaders of these respective institutions, as one of the main intentions of this trip was to exchange, concepts, ideas and research in a number of scientific areas.
In one of the highlights of the trip, Hui Chen met with the Director of Hormel Institute, Dr. Zigong Dong. A world-renowned scientist in cancer research, Dr. Zigong Dong is noted for his scientific explorations into the effect on cancer on certain elements that appear regularly in the diets of many Asians. With the rich resources in edible and medicinal mushrooms that Alphay has to offer, Chairman Chen and his Alphay team of scientists have the opportunity to bring new discoveries into this very significant area of study. Most importantly, like these institutes, Alphay is also on a mission to extend greater awareness of global health technologies and their potential to make a positive difference in the world.
On February 18, Alphay celebrated the achievements of Alphay Member Mary Dingmann as she reached the rank of Key Master, becoming one of the pivotal leaders in Alphay’s North American expansion. A special recognition of this milestone was held during Alphay’s Showcase in the Hotel Sofitel Minneapolis, and a dinner was hosted by Alphay to congratulate Mary, her sponsors Sharon and Stephen Weinstein, and her team of dedicated Alphay Members.
This event marks one of the first of many steps to success taken recently by Alphay International in its game plan for rapid expansion and development of new markets in North America.
